[Dreamboat] OT: where I've been

Hi Dreamboaters, 

Last Monday, I had to go to the hospital.  I was having so much
trouble breathing that (my husband) Joe and I thought it might be
pneumonia.  Well, to make a long story short, turns out I'm severly
anemic and that I have blood clots in both lungs.  I have to be on
blood thinners for a long time.  I got out of the hospital on
Thursday.  

On Friday, I learned that my dad, who lives 3,000 miles from me, went
into the hospital with dizzyness & short of breath.  He's 82 and we
had a very worrisome winter with him last year - several hospital
visits culiminating in his acquiring a pacemaker.  So, I learned he
had a mini stroke. He's okay, still walking around etc.  So,  in
January, I need to fly back east and make sure he's getting some
proper care because he lives with 2 family members who are useless.
(Long story, won't bore you all with details.)

So, the whole upshot of this is, I'm askng for prayers, good thoughts,
happy energy, bright lights, whatever it is that you can give.   I
feel fortunate to be walking around myself right now, except that I'm
too worried about my Dad.

off topic.
