I heard Heart on tv today, and caught a glimpse of Ann with some entertainment show host (?).

SEATTLE, WA - KONG TV 6/16 is proud to announce that Ann Wilson, lead singer of the popular Seattle rock band Heart, will serve as special guest judge on the 90-minute Grand Finale of Gimme the Mike 2 on Monday, April 25 beginning at 8:30 PM. The show will be coming to you LIVE from the Experience Music Project's Sky Church. 

Along with her sister, Nancy of Heart, Ann has released over a dozen albums, recorded twenty-one Top 40 hits, and sold over 30 million albums. Ann Wilson will be joining Gimme the Mike 2's regular panel of judges including Grammy-award winning hip hop artist Sir Mix-A-Lot, KISS 106.1 morning radio host Bender, and editor and publisher of ROCKRGRL Magazine Carla DeSantis. 

In the finale, Ann Wilson and judges will select the grand prize winner from the six remaining finalists. The winner will receive a brand new Chevrolet Aveo, a trip for two to New York City, and the opportunity to record an original song for the 2005 "Christmas in the Northwest" CD. 

In addition to her work with Heart, Ann Wilson has also performed on an all-star Beatles Tribute Tour and plays with The Lovemongers. After thirty years in the business, Ann Wilson continues to be active in the music industry. Heart's latest album, Jupiter's Darling, was released in June 2004. This July, Wilson will be performing a special benefit concert at Seattle's Summer Nights at South Lake Union Park music series. 

Each episode of Gimme the Mike 2 features a different guest judge, including former Governor Gary Locke and musicians Dave Dederer of The Presidents of the United States of America and Reggie Watts of Maktub.
