Hey all, I posted this on the BB, but I wanted to post it here too.

A recent obsession of mine is/are the Funk Brothers, the group of
musicians who played on every Motown hit from the late 50's to the
early 70's. I happened to catch the documentary about them, entitled
"Standing in the Shadows of Motown" on cable a number of times. I was
completely taken with their story. Anyway, my husband bought me the
DVD, which included a CD package. 

In looking around the net for further information, I happened across
the following article. The Funk Brothers came to Seattle when they
toured in 2003?, and the review mentions A&N getting up on stage with
them.

When the Funks play out, apparently they have guest vocalists and
such. They reunited for the documentary (which was released in 2002)
and have toured sporadically ever since.

Standing in the Shadows of Motown is a great tribute to some real
unsung heroes.
