[Dreamboat] Alannah Myles..

Yeah, this whole Eurovision song contest used to be a big event, but I
must disagree, Sanny that everything coming from Germany is crap; I
believe ALL the songs are crap and have been the past decade at least.
BUT having said that, when it is being broadcast (and it's televised
live here in the Netherlands) I can't help but watch.
Many people gather on the evening of the broadcast and give points for
presentation, songs and - last but certainly not least in the Gay
community - outfit :)
But the points that actually matter and count are the points given by a
jury of "experts".
The voting is influenced more and more by politics; countries that have
close ties with other European countries give more points and so the end
result is usually disappointing.
It's too silly to even discuss here, but there, now I already did :)

PS I think we have a good chance this year LOL

LOL, don't know about the webcast, but at least for Germany I can tell,
that the national trials weren't televized this year, although they did
in earlier years ...unfortunally. I have absolutely no clue how the
songs for the concest will be chosen here. Nearly everything coming from
Germany to the contest was crap as long as I can remember.
