Hello Everyone,
Hope you all had a great holiday season!
I was completely out of touch, which was nice really. ;-)
(and i owe some of you email...)

Having read this post by Rockin' Randy it made me think of my first job. This is a true story. Having worked off and on in state govt. I decided to go for a steady job at the new mall at Spencer Gifts (where they sold gag gifts, posters, mood lighting and vibrators..). Besides, in Olympia - the mall was where kids my age were hanging. So, when I arrived for my scheduled interview and walked in the door "Tell It Like It Is" came on over the speakers!!!! Now, I hadn't heard it yet because the album was not out and didn't even know about the single as it was just released to radio - but I did know THAT VOICE!!! Of course, I wanted to hang out in the store and listen but the interview was in the back room where there were no speakers... although i did take my time walking back there. I thought, this must be a sign and yes, indeed, later that day they called and offered me the job!
