What a cool story. I'm just always impressed whenever I mention to someone that Heart is my favorite band and they can pop off any song that wasn't a hit. I burn most of my own cd's and when it comes to Heart, they almost always include what I call the "B Sides", songs that no one else has heard. I left one in a friends car one day after I had borrowed it and he listened to the whole thing, told me that he'd never heard it, but loved it and could I make him a copy. Hey, who could NOT be impressed with Ring Them Bells?? LOL
That said...I've really enjoyed reading about Tell It Like It Is this week. My greatest hits/live cd has been scratched all to hell - thanks kids. Last week I ordered the other greatest hits...the one that starts with Strong, Strong Wind and now I'm really anxious to get it in the mail so that I can listen to this song again. Hurry up mailman!!!
Holly

I love this song, too. ESPECIALLY the end where Ann just starts to wail!!! As the song starts to fade I usually start cranking up the volume in order to get to hear some great vocal work that most people miss. Check it out!
Also, last week I went to jam with a guy who plays guitar. As we were finishing up he asked me what my favorite band was. Of course I said "Heart" to which he picked up his guitar and started to play. I expected COY or something like that but got Mistral Wind. Needless to say I was impressed. He said that was one of the first albums he ever got and he learned a lot of guitar with it. He also played Nada One, Lighter Touch, and Love Alive. I jammed with his whole band a couple of days ago and he pulled out Cry To Me. Needless to say, I will be playing with them some more.
OK, back to lurking....
Andrew
