[Dreamboat] OT - hello

Hi Dreamboat Mongers....

I'm back on board this wonderful list after 7 months.  I'm trying to get 
things back to a "normal" stage again.  I believe it was December when I 
received an email saying I was taken off this list because of too many 
bounces (thanks Hotmail!)  At the time I received the email, my dad was very 
ill with Sepsis.  My sister and I were spliting up time taking care of my 
mother.  Along with changes at work, it became a stressful time and I just 
kept putting off signing up for the list again.
Some of you might know and some may not know, my father recoverd from Sepsis 
but my mother passed away on May 18th.  She had many problems in the last 
almost 4 years but it was COPD which took her from us.  It's been a hard 
adjustment in my life.  Mom and I had become even closer in the last few 
years.  I'm trying to keep busy but reality  takes over - it's the hardest 
thing I had to face in my life to date.
I thought I would catch up with old friends again and so...here I am.  I'm 
still living outside of Philadelphia with my partner and our 2 dogs and cat. 
  My beloved sheltie Trevor passed away at almost 17 the end of November.  
I'm still working in radio but only part time since I am preparing to head 
back to college in September - hopefully.  I will be working on a graduate 
degree in entertainment and business.  I'm also doing alot of gigs with my 
mobile DJ business.
My favorite band....will always be HEART!!
I wished I could of gone to the shows in California this weekend, but it was 
impossible at the time they were announce with my parents health issues.  I 
did get to go to Chicago in March and I'm looking forward to the PBS 
broadcast the end of the month the DVD of the show.
