Wow! What a very detailed selection process... I really enjoyed reading your
perspective on things. Thanks for sharing that!

I would've taken the same route you did, for the same reasons... except when
you got to the track list.

I would've went one step further and (as much as I LOVE the song) I would've
removed "Say Hello" just because it seems more like a filler "hootenanny"
song, which is one of the things I love about Ann & Nancy, but we're talking about
a process of elimination. I also would've combined "Cry To Me" and "Go On
Cry" into one track by making the title be "Cry To Me (Go On Cry)", just like
the same feeling as "Sylan Song" and "Dream Of The Archer".

Now, mind you, I am not trying to CHANGE your list or your opinion... I'm
just giving my take on it.
The only thing that I would feel the need to point out about you including
"Heartless" & Devil Delight" on the "Dog & Butterfly" album is that you pushed
"Straight On" to SIDE 2 of the album and that would never work. Their concept
for that album was to have SIDE 1 be the "DOG" side with all the upbeat
rockers and SIDE 2 was the "BUTTERFLY" side with all the ballads.
Perhaps you might have taken something like "Cry To Me" to use on the
"Butterfly" side and then add "Devil Delight" to the "Dog" side, while leaving
"Heartless" on the "Little Queen" album. Just a thought...

So, anyway... my track list would look like this :

SIDE 1:

Barracuda
Heartless
Love Alive
Dream Of The Archer (w/Sylvan Song)
Magazine

SIDE 2:

Little Queen
Kick It Out
Devil Delight
Treat Me Well
Cry To Me (Go On Cry)
