Hi Laurie,

Yes, you are right. The "Heartless, Heartless" part
where it is sung the same, is indeed the original
version. It's a shame you don't like the original
version (that is, if I understand you correctly), but
to each his own. The second version, at least to me,
just sounded like they were bored. And that wail that
Ann lays down during the instrumental part in the
middle of the original is awesome! On the "Behind The
Music" special I mentioned before, it was said that
"Little Queen" and "Magazine" were supposed to be one
record.

Actually, this could be a good survey question. Ok
everyone....If the 2 albums had been released as one,
which songs would you have wanted to be on it??? This
can include the original or rereleased recordings from
Magazine. I'll go first.....and I'm assuming a
12-track list for the album.

These are in the sequence that I would choose (just
off the top of my head):

Heartless (Original)
Barracuda
Love Alive
Sylvan Song/Dream of The Archer
Cry To Me
Kick It Out

Here Song
Say Hello
Treat Me Well (Nancy has to be in there somewhere!)
Just The Wine (Original)
Devil Delight (Original)
Magazine (Original)

Looking forward to everyone's responses!

Take care,

Dennis
