My two bits....
I have been thinking about Ann's new project and the EMP interview which was
exceptional, such a treat, and I was so proud to be a fan of her music. Her
reflections, her honesty, and her open style was something I wish each fan
could have had part in. That, to me, is what it is about. Memorizing minutia
regarding her personal life is not my thing. Respectfully, it's the music
she and Nancy offer up. This interview was wonderful. Although I have the
rare fantasy of spending 20- min at Starbucks chatting it up with her, I do
not care to drive by her home, or press for private
information....information none of us would want to share. So...at the EMP,
yes, there was an inappropriate person or two. The kinda fan you maybe have
to have a bodyguard for because they are just too far out there. And....the
questions posed by the Fisher sister were outta line. Wrong venue. bad
taste.
As I have shared with my dearest monger pals, I have made peace with my
ex-husband long ago..etc. etc...but please, don't make me do any appearances
with him. That was then..this is now.
Why would we push for something they don't want?
