Hi mongers....

I haven't seen this program yet.  I don't have digital cable, which carries 
VH1 Classics in the area where I live.  With going to grad school and other 
expenses now which includes a new car (see next paragraph for that info,) 
I'm waiting on a DVD copy from a fellow monger.  I'll watch it then.  I was 
in the audience that night and Heart was fantastic.  Although the mix for 
the arena was so-so, I have heard only high praise for the wonderful mixing 
of the sound, which was done by Craig and Nancy in post-production (then 
goodness - they DO KNOW how to compliment the band and Ann's voice!)  I am 
very much looking forward to the opportunity to view the show!!!!

Off topic: I was involved in an auto accident last Saturday Night (May 6th) 
after DJing a wedding.  The good news - I AM DOING JUST FINE!  I probably 
have to do the PT thing with my shoulder, since it's still real sore and 
hurts a heck of alot over a week after the accident.  My neck still is 
bothering me and the ribs are a bit tender still.  The bad news - my 2000 
Kia Sportage was totaled.  I was hoping to make it last until I graduate 
grad school next fall, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.  I will say, that 
car really protected me from serious harm.  A woman ran a red light and hit 
me at a high rate of speed.  I'm very lucky!  The insurance company settled 
with me already for an extremely fair amount of money for the old Sportage, 
which had 119,000 miles plus on it and being six years old.  I was able to 
use the money for a down payment on a brand new 2006 Kia Sportage.  The 
vehicle has been update since I bought my old one and it's very nice.  The 
good Lord protected me in the accident and I do hope the car payments will 
come in a similar manner!  I'm a bit more strapped for cash now, but I 
believe everything will work out.  It's going to be tough until I graduate 
next fall (hopefully) but after that, I should be able to pay off the car 
without many problems.
