Howdy! ForeignerMonger checkin' in!
Here's a question I've been pondering...what's your least fave form of chocolate?
Every Heart fan has their fave & least fave Heart tracks; to me, least fave tracks are like asking what are my LFFC. But it's not that I wouldn't listen to those live MAGAZINE tracks at all ever again; I mean, Without You, LFFC, how could I appreciate those Heart songs I truly love?
OK, that's least 3. Tho' truth be told, my mom loves WY, and we'll harmonize on that one if we have the tape in the car.
More of my Least Fave Forms of Chocolate:
Cook With Fire - had it been a studio track, fine; Live Track to kick off D&B? Doesn't quite work with me.
Break - Never was quite fond of this punk homage. Same goes for "Jackleg Man," from the Expanded BEBE, yet I'm glad they included "Break" on the original album than JMan.
Fast Times & America - I felt PRIVATE AUDITION lost steam after "One Word." The former was fast & furious, but not much else. The latter only worked for me in the moving context of hearing Lou Wilson talk about hubby John's war experiences on the Heart CD-ROM.
Perfect Stranger is only a step up from those last two because I like singing with it. Still, I'd have dropped it from PA, too.
Ambush - Had PASSIONWORKS ended with "Language Of Love," I wouldn't have been heartbroken. :-)
Secret, Cruel Nights, The Will To Love [from the Stranded CDS] Even tho' "Cruel Nights" is a sing-along slightly better than the other 2, none of these woulda made BRIGADE. These are real over-the-top 80's cheesedom, even by Heart's standard.
Will You Be There (In The Morning). OK, don't shoot me (all at once). WYBT's not too bad, but I'd rather hang out with Wilson wisdom like "Ain't no snake inside my wall/I won't be your Voodoo Doll" over Mutt-musings like "You're my obsession, my addiction, my drug..."
Ring Them Bells - That shoulda been saved for those Lovemonger hootenannies. Same goes for the following JUPITER'S DARLING Tracks: Things, Enough, Led To One, Hello Moonglow & [apologies to all L-Word fans in the house] No Other Love.
Anyhoo, those are my Least Fave Forms of Chocolate. You've got yours; what are they?
But remember, whichever songs you pick don't matter - just remember to brush after meals!
LATAH From Stranger And Still...HCC, FCC* CEO & DDS, RSVP, it's a private affair...
P.S.: No, RSVP is not on my LFFC list, Heh-heh!
